Heads. I draw them. Hopefully, so do you.Someone asked for this. I've never made a tutorial before, and this one is too long. I can't imagine that this will help anyone, but here you go. HEADS. Mmmyup.
You should all feel awesome after seeing the crappy way I draw heads XD

It's not very helpful because the character is lookin straight ahead, and people shouldn't draw like that, but it helps for planning a face, I think.

I try to do more dynamic angles, but I'll do those ones to figure out the way the face is supposed to look to start with.

Well, you are! Working slower isn't exactly FUN, and there gets to be a point where art starts to be a lot of work before it becomes easier again, but for what it's worth, you've been doing pretty good stuff lately

Are the random off-to-the-side eyes just supposed to be different facial expressions, or are they the other turtles' eyes? The bottom ones particularly look like big Mike eyes.

I need to learn the lines thing. I use ref pics - lines are easier. But when I first started I didn't have a decent eraser, and the paper turned gray every time I erased the ref lines. 
Putting the chin a fair bit outside them is a good idea. Most of the artists I've seen keep it closer to the circle, and it does kinda blend in then.

I've seen some doing it a variety of different ways. A lot of my favorite artists don't even draw a chin at all. This is just how I do it

Where you people find the patiente to make tutorials, I have no idea!
It was a nice read, really interesting! I usually use the circle for the FACE and not the actual head/skull like a lot of people do. I should try doing it like this for once, just for the hell of it!

I'd love to see how you do it sometime! This tutorial was fun, but it took a while. not as long as I thought, but still a lot longer than I would have liked.

Yeah, that was my very first TMNT drawing. It's so ugly XD I had just watched the first five episodes of the old toon. They premiered on Channel 21 in Vegas around Feb or so in 1988 XD

I wish my mom was like that, actually. My mom was the type who was like "Oh, now I have instant servants". I was taught how to do laundry at age 3 and have been washing dishes since I was 7, which is probably why I have such an aversion to cleaning right now XD

Very awesome tutorial, your drawings are so expressive and that is a definite area of weakness for me, expressions that are in my head and I can't put down on paper partly because my style still needs work, but I'm glad you've found your own unique way of drawing, ^^
