Description
This is my rendition of the three beginning pokemon. Before I say anything, I have to say that I stole the idea of the fanned tail from AnnaJ, who is the best realstic pokemon artist I have ever seen.Charmander: Charmander lives on rocky terrains, ranging from mountains to live volcanoes, being cold blooded they prefer warm, craggy mountains where they can bask in sunlight. They are small and hunt only small rodents and larger insects. They can survive shockingly high temperatures due to its rough and durable skin. On the mountain tops charmanders groups often tunnel and mine for bimstone which they gnaw and grind into a fine dust which they stores in pouches in their cheeks, much like a hamster. Inside they stores hydrogen in a sealed lung whoch charmander can open by breathing out harshly. The back teeth of charmander are covered in a silvery residue which reacts with hydrogen much in the same way as platinum does, it causes a reaction that results in a flamethrower spewing from its mouth, using brimstone it is capable of firing small explosions of heat as well. The fan on its tail fill with blood when the group is threatened and turns a bright orangey-red colour, which causes the rumour that charmander's tails are wreathed in fire. When a charmander dies the tail-fan fold in on itself making it seem like the flame has gone out.
Squirtle: Squirtle is a reptile that swims faster than any other reptillian species known. Its tough shell is capable of absorbing alot of impact and as a result is often its defense mechanism. Its secondary defense it projecting a forceful jet of water from a lung it has adapted from living beneath the water. This lung is flexable and is able to collect large amounts of water in one go. Squirtle also has a ferocious bite and scratch, it's melodic and beautiful tail trails behind it when it swims.
Bulbasaur: Bulbasaur's skin feels soft and rubbery like that of a frog, it;s large red of white eyes often scaring away predators that might threaten it's bulb which it treasures beyond anything else. The bulb grows into blossom as the creature itself grows, the veins in the leaves are actually made of cartilidge which is connected directly to spinal collumn allowing it have some movment and control in it's bulb. The flower on it's back often grows into a flower similar to that of a desert rose, which is highly poisonous even if extremly attractive. Only in rare and unusual cases is the flower different. Weaved between the individual leaves of the plant are spores which erupt when danger is near throwing a powerful paralyzing and eventually fatal gas into the air.
There, hope you liked my explanation.
