I've been needing to do some reference sheets for my original characters, just for my own use, for a while now. I figured I should start with Nightstick, under the pretense of (hopefully) getting to work on a Fight City comic sometime soon.

But this is also convenient timing, as is starting up the third AFL tournament soon, and I thought I'd throw my hat (or stick) into the ring this time around. So this will work as my character reference that I'll need as (partial) entry for that as well.

And here's some basic info on the man himself:

Nightstick is one of the costumed heroes who makes his home in Wright City, which is located in the U.S. Pacific Northwest, and is semi-affectionately known by it's inhabitants as "Fight City". He's seen most often operating in and around the international district of the city. Like most of the vigilante type residents, his true identity is not known to the general populace.

He has no documented "super" powers or abilities, however he appears to be in peak physical condition, an expert in several armed and un-armed martial arts and is the self-proclaimed "Master of Blunt Weaponry".

Affiliations: Part-time member of the City Power organization, and sometimes partner of it's founder, Jeremiah "Hard" Knox. Friendly with other street-level crimefighters, and is known to have teamed up with Meerkat and The May-Fly on multiple occasions.

Weapons/Equipment: He's usually armed with a pair of custom tonfas, which can connect together and expand into a longer bo-length staff. But he normally carries a few extra "normal" weapons on his person - tonfas, jutte, collapsable batons and occasionally even sai or nunchaku. He also seems to have the capacity to turn just about any found object into a weapon of some kind.

Likes: Moo goo gai pan, awesome drum solos, cats

Dis-likes: Global warming, reality TV, women who wear too much perfume
