I know I have some friends that are bronies even though I don't comprehend every thing they say because when I'm listening to them and I get lost in their conversation I'll say "How bout Digimon or Pokemon a cartoon I Know" the only time they annoy me is when they compare me to they compare me with the characters.

I have the same experiences..... it appears I'm rainbow dash.
But it doesn't make sense!
It is a show that teaches cheesy lessons about friendship and stuff by means of colorful flamboyant ponies.
This is what people should be made fun of for liking, not encouraged T-T and I get made fun of for reading Bleach instead TT-TT I truly do not understand

Bleach is kinda the butt monkey of anime. I blame the fillers. Oh and before I forget *ahem* [link] HAHAHAHAHA YOU READ BLEACH HAHAHA! Now if you excuse me I need to watch a rainbow colored pony learn a lesson about modesty and yellow one learn how to be more assertive. *snickers* Bleach, what a loser.
Joking aside, because I did watch Bleach, yeah it has cheesy lessons at the end but they feel organic to the story, don't feel force and are easy to ignore and just enjoy the show. Is what happen to get to that lesson that is important. Half the time there is a mental breakdown involved (which are always fun), some sorta of mythical creature attack, or just some enjoyable slice of life with silly cartoon antics. And if you prefer a more serious tone the fanbase has a lot of fanmade stories that are actually pretty good. Fallout: Equestria for example.
And people discussing how Rainbow Dash is better than Applejack are wasting their time. Everyone knows that Twilight is best pony.

I'm saying that anyone that likes ponies but want something a little more serious the fanbase has a bunch of stories (and audio dramas). Fallout: Equestria being a good example. It is a well written story, totally not for kids for obvious reasons and long as hell (45 chapters long + multiples side stories) but well written.
And what if I want to read something serious with ponies? Then where do I go? And what if already watch all those serious shows? And what if I don't like those serious shows?
And was up with the sad face. Is this really depressing you?

Apparently Me and you go by the same thing(it sounds like an ice cream flavor really) I mean I remember watching Digimon and Yu-Gi-Yo. You know the game Lollipop Chainsaw? that game according to one of my friends has a lot of brony references. Hey speaking of games do you have Xbox Live my GT it TheCelticWolf13 hit me up on XBL if you have it may we can play some Halo 3, Counter Strike G.O. or MW2 just to name a few. I blame Glee also ruining good music

This just occurred to me while watching this I ain't hating or anything but the horses names sound like Ice Cream flavors Except Apple Jack because, if my memory helps me in the south apple cider but with a lot more alcohol content to the point it taste like moonshine with a hint of apple is called "AppleJack" if memory serves me

Haha, that's what I meant though. You're actually civilized unlike most people on the internet. Haha, people often rage when they see MLP art for some reason. It's a "STOP LIKING WHAT I DON'T LIKE" kind of scenario, which is really immature. Then there's also the bronies who follow the "If you don't like what I like, then I don't like you" scenario. That is also very immature. People need to get that everyone has opinions, and they don't always match your's.
Also, in regards to there being an abundance of really high quality MLP drawings, I know what you mean. Many MLP fan artist seem to put A LOT of effort into their fan art, but I don't have a problem with it. Which is not only because I'm a fan myself, but also that I appreciate good art regardless of where it comes from.

I was kinda surprised given how this image with all of them put next to each other isn't the most coherent thing ever, until I was told by the DD suggester not to compare this to other works in my gallery but other works in the same category.

Pony art is actually very rarely featured, let alone much fan art. Most of the fan art featured relates to some Nintendo franchise. A lot of people like Sonic too, but do you see a lot of Sonic art getting featured just because it it's a Sonic piece? I could count them on one hand.
Hands down, this piece deserves the DD. Pixil artwork can be difficult to tone and shade properly and getting it to look right.

These artists have no control over whether or not their art gets featured, don't take it out on them.

How would you like it if someone said the same about a piece of your artwork?
There are both good and bad ways to present an opinion.
For example, I don't like MLP, so I comment saying that even though I don't like the subject matter, it's still a good piece regardless.
The bad way for me to have done that would've been to comment saying "Ew, this is MLP fan art? Ick, blech, BAAAW."
Do you see what I'm talking about?
I'm not trying to change your opinion or anything, just keep in mind the feelings of others. ^^

Really? Of all the pony art I've seen, they hardly get DD's.
Peeking into the DD suggester's favorites, she doesn't appear to be a brony as =ValaSedai 's favorite folders doesn't even have a MLP folder while there are folders for other stuff, including folders dedicated to Harry Potter, Elder scrolls and such.
^Hardrockangel doesn't appear to be a hardcore fan either.

Yup, I'm like no pony fan at all (I neither love nor hate it, I'm just indifferent towards it I guess^^) but if I see a piece that shows outstanding technique or a good message or something similar, I will suggest it no matter what fandom it belongs to.

Wow, you missed my point. My point is that the people who turned this into a DD do not appear to be fans to begin with so they probably do not have any real attachment nor love for the characters themselves, so to say that this is a DD because it's pony is being ridiculous.
