I noticed you don't have anything for the wings, know where I can find anything for them?

I'm probably never going to get to wings since I've distanced myself from the pony fandom.
Best advice I can give, take a look at bird wings. You'll find all the answers there

Their wings a long way from realistic though.
Still, thanks.

I like to think how high the tail is raised is based on how happy they usually are. For Twilight, she is a more happy character, so even though her tail is flat, it's raised! This is unlike Pinkamena, a more down-spirited character, whom has a tail that hangs down more to in between her legs, and drags her tail along.

I thank you very much for sharing your collection of tutorials! They helped me get in-depth details of what a Pony should 'be.'

I LOVE you tutorials, and I agree. Do a mane one, and one for everything else you can think of! (;

Pinkie's back hair. My spine now feels uncomfortable. I can't unsee this.
Why? Why would you do this?

Thanks for this tutorial, it's great! That screen cap of Pinkie is hilarious, where is that tail suppose to be attached?

Pretty interesting points you bring here (and your other anatomy notes) and very informational! Keep it up!

Next one I can guarantee to make people lose their jaws as it will provide a reasonanle foundation to finding one's anatomical style and make so much sense of the world. It will be highly theoretical though.

I find this really nice to read. I always try to put a sense of realistic equine features in my ponies and one thing I've always played with is the ears. I make me more realistic but still have the cartoony look to them. Horses really do use their ears a lot to communicate. They'll swivel them to the side to hear clearly (much like other animals like rabbits, dogs, and cats do), they'll let them flop when they're relaxed, perked up when they're listening, and boy oh boy flatten ears back is a sign to not piss them off. XD
I really do like reading this, I really do. <3

This is a really useful tutorial. I'm so glad you used real horses to make your points! That's easier for me to understand than just lineart... Thanks for providing this.

I really appreciate these because first of all I am a science student and I have caught all of the inaccuracies, if you will, of the ponies' bodies, their movements, etc. compared to real equines. They don't bother me, it's just that being a sciencey person I couldn't help but to notice and point them out. This is awesome and thanks a lot!

What I think is really amazing are areas which science is perfectly applicable to the arts. But, what I think is also very interesting are instances where we can toy around with what would otherwise be real to make something that is still convincing. What an interesting world we live in

Another great tutorial for the collection. It's little details like these that make or break a pony. Thank you. ^^

Yay! Been waiting for this one. Thank you.
These are really good to show new artists. When anybody needs help with proportions these notes are the first place I point them.

Funny because first thing these tutorials do is point at the show, and encourage looking at horses. That's putting aside people who suggest to draw from life as there are so many things you won't learn through drawing cartoons.
