here is the way i do my comic book style coloring. Didn't turn out to the best of my ability but i think it will work for those out there trying to get a handle on it and willing to explore new techniques.This was made for my friend Lunar-Dollz but everyone is welcome to the knowlege. It is a photoshop ONLY tutorial.
I did the coloring and Michael Turner did the Sketchwork. It was a scan-in and i was told by Mr. Turner himself that all i need to do in order to use his material is mention his name in the credits as well as not try and sell his work. So for all you delete happy deviants out there..be fore warned i have permission to use his art.

I know i struggled for a long time trying to find a style and also tutorials that made any sense for a beginner so i'm happy it's helping other artists out there. well again i am glad to help, just continue to study other methods has a GREAT alternate way of coloring in his gallery i believe they are videos, if not try browsing the last year of his journals, i think he posted a link in there.

I would like to do your coloring Tutorial I think might help me learn to color better the only problem is that I canβt pone the image in Photoshop itβs the image is damaged I saw wondering if cant help me with that?

oh wow i don't know man, i know i had it archived somewhere...i didn't do it if that's what you are thinking, i believe i googled the sketch but don't worry it's all good, i have permission by Aspen comics that anything i use of Michael turners is okay as long as i'm not making money with it. So i'll check my archive when i get home until then just google michael turner sketch on google or go to comicartcommunity.com and look under his name it may be there

i think, i shall do a tribute eventually going along these guidlines....not sure if 'arcsoft' is close to photoshop but meh....same basic principle.

um..i don't know try trying some iconoclast superheroes like superman....but with your own twist. or maybe create your own hero. or maybe some ninjas...cause they are always cool.

Hey youre a ninja too, im not but i know alot of ninjas who kick my ass on a regular basses. Thats because i am a samurai and have alot more honor than ninjas, and alot more broken bones

wow, this is exactly what I was looking for I have so much more confidence now I can't wait to get to work on some of my stuff. how lucky you are to be able to use Turner's work he has to be my favorite artist of all time.

actually i talked to MT and he said as long as his work is not being sold and we give him credit we can use his work. That goes for anyone i guess.

oh i COLOR with a mouse lol, no drawing bro, that would take like ages! ...not that i have gotten you your shit in AGES. Don't worry i'm workin on it though...i had to color it on my friends computer and he ended up crashing so i have to re color it all, luckily i had it on disc, but i can only be on his comp for like an hour at a time since ya know it's his and shit....ya know what though, don't even worry about the rest of the money, since it's taken so long i'll do this for what you sent. sorry bro. i'm a fuckin slacker.
