Description Gravix, suited up in the mechus combat titan(CT) Mechus is equipped with an arsenal of weapons: Dual multi round zamor sphere launchers, two shoulder mounted missile launchers, and when artillery doesn't get the job done he has a laser edge battle sword. Gravix is an experienced pilot and soldier. His ability to drive a CT suit surpasses any of his fellow toa. His skill projectile weapons contributes to this. Mechus is a a custom CT suit made specifically for Gravix's physiology and abilities. Mechus is no lumbering giant. While he isn't as agile and maneuverable as say Mototaur and Ryakk he can definitely move with speed. Mechus has three energy cores that power the suit. Two built into the calves and one smaller one on the back. The ammo for any CT suit when on the battle field

Several things went into inspiring the look feel, and function of this MOC. I was thinking Power loader from aliens seen here [link] for the interface of the two characters, as well as the front cage design, as well as the matrix's APU seen here [link] for some of the look of the Mech over all, all that with a little japanese style mech thrown in with the look of armor and accents. I had Built gravix gravix and thought he would make a good mech pilot. HEHEHE I was right. Plus I also needed someone that Ryakk could get in a fight with and be an even or close match. Mobility wise he/they have decent range. The legs move quite well. I would prefer some better range on the shoulders and arms, but I have high standards. The arms move okay. Then he has some torso mobility but that honesly was a bust. Mechus's torso will go one way and gravix another and its a struggle to get everything lined up. I'll have to go back and fix that but as it is again its not bad, it works, just not well enough for my standards. This(not including the prototype wich I never count) is the sorta second stage version. He was by far designed the fastest. I think it took me about a week to get the initial MOC together. After that its just been tweeking things. Unlike my other two colossi who've had multiple revamps to everything. Mechus has only had a few. His legs are still from the first design. I was really surprised how well this one came out first time through. There's still some kinks in the whole "pilot, suit interface" but I'm figuring it out. Also I'd like to add that I built this entire thing and not a single piston was used on this MOC. I'm kinda proud about that.

A good design htere, but what would happen if someone was to shoot one of the power cores in the suit's legs?

uhhhh well the other two could power the suit. Even the small one on his back could power the suit's functions, engine wise or power wise he's basically over built. Like sticking a massive moter in a small car or sticking a bunch of locomotives on a train even though one locomotive is enough. The extra power is for exertion. When he's needing strength the other cells kick in. As for things like energy beams smaller ones wouldn't do anything. I suppose hypothetically the massive difference in energy would make the smaller energy collision not matter. A zamor sphere is to small even. They pump out a lot of power the way I see anything big enough to take out power core is gonna just blow the whole leg apart in which case gravix has bigger problems then just a core going out. Plus the cores in the legs aren't too big of targets and they're fast moving ones as well. They're sorta exposed, but not like WIDE OPEN exposed. They're no more a potential vulnerability than gravix is inside the suit, in fact they're probably less of one. Gravix's arms are kinda exposed, more so than I'd like but there's not much I can do and still have the mobility needed.

Huh, okay then... SO htere's no chance the energy cores could detonate if ruptured?

Ummm yeah I'm thinking so. I haven't really put too much thought into it, since its all hypothetical, but I'm thinking if the containment field was disrupted the core would just shut down. Its more like an electrical circuit. Interrupt the flow and it just stops. The energy cores aren't explosive. That's why they work in this application.

Ah, guess that is wiser than having something that could potentially wlok your leg off.

Dude. Your work is freakin complicated. Awesome!

Damn. You have a whole novel written in your Artist's Comments box, hahah. (My guess is your reply will be long, too)

Well done, sir!

Thanks man.

haha yeah had a lot to say about this guy. At first I wasn't sure what to say in the artist comments, but now people know me and know what I do, so I know what to tell people.

Thanks again.

how was that? Not too long I hope.
