Builder's notes
After revamping the original Matteo, then the Merchant version, it was Pirate Matteo's turn.
His arms are shorter on all versions now. This helps makes his proportions a bit more organic, but they're still pretty fucked. LOL Matteo will just forever have terrible posture.
He's got fancy new breeches made from two of this parachute piece . The original versions pants were still dark blue, but I felt like breeches with white longjohns underneath felt more "piraty" and added a whole new textile element to the mix.
Just about everything on the figure was rebuilt from the ground up. The only thing that didn't really need a redesign was the boots/feet and Monarth 's pirate hat design which I modified and simplified from his version of Matteo.
He's got a fancy new bandolier to to carry his pistols. He had one before, but it was a simple over the shoulder strap, where as this one goes down both shoulders and meets at the back. I quite like this new one waaaaay more!

Bio
After the loss of his wife and fellow immortal, Matteo became a Grief and rage stricken Force of Nature! Her death consumed him and Matteo beset himself upon the world in search of answers. In his travels he took to the sea and took up piracy. The world over soon came to know this man by another name, Captain Malice, the Great Entropy, as Matteo was the antithesis of calm and order on the High Seas. Mariners and pirates alike thought him to be a demon hellbent on claiming souls for his hoarde. His crew knew otherwise, and only the ancients knew of his true name and origins. While he was a menace to other sea faring men, he was a great tactician as a pirate and a fair captain to his crew. What Matteo would come to learn is that no amount of looting, pillaging, drinking and killing, and no searching the most obscure corners of the earth for what does not wish to be found will bring his wife back, and that as with all life, he to must move on without her...
