He's got a new coat. With the release of Set 76393 Harry Potter and Hermione Granger , I wanted to use the new cloth part they used for Harry on Matteo as sleeves for his coat. That was what initially kicked off the push for updates.

Completely rebuilt thighs. I tore the old design apart and started over, which is a big deal because the core of the design was what I originally built from the first version of Matteo. The new design is 1 stud longer as well. So Matteo is getting slightly taller.

Completely redesigned arms. The old design had black biceps to mimic being part of his coat. But it was a short sleeved coat, which made no sense. So I went back and made the arms completely dark red. His arms are also shorter now, to try and get them closer to normal proportions. Matteo's proportions are still fucked for a human character, but I think I'm just gonna have to live with that. This is what happens when you convert a random Bionicle villain over to someone who's supposed to be human. Remember when Matteo had literal Shoulder blades? Yeah fun times trying to get him to look somewhat human.

His hands also were updated as part of the arms update to.

Torso has been retextured. The front, sides and back of Matteo's torso has been completely redone. The core elements are still there, but the exterior is completely new now. One detail I'd like to point out is that I added Roses to Matteo's chest because the artwork for him has roses embroidered on his waistcoat. This is in memory of his late wife, who went by "The Immortal Rose." Roses will now be a continual motif with Matteo where they make sense.
