Matteo has come a long way with me on this Journey of discovery in the world of MOCing. I first built the grey prototype in November of 2010, and the first proper version of him in January 2011. He's been my little buddy and morphed into my Self MOC more through convenience than actually trying to make a self MOC (which is the bionicle version of a Sigfig for you system folks). I never planned for him to be this super important chsracter, and in a way, I think that makes it better. Who and what Matteo is has grown organically, and that's one of the things I like most about him.

To some he might just seem like a cool design, or a plastic figure, but to me, he's a living breathing person who's life and world I spend a lot of time thinking about. Hes had friends, lovers, hes known joy and happiness, but also extreme loss, suffering and pain. Hes had an extraordinary life, and there is a story there to tell. In a way, he's been a friend on this journey, and he's without a doubt my most beloved lego creation.

I'm also happy to report that he's getting another update, so any feedback or advice you have, I'd like to hear it as to take it into consideration as I work on the new version.
