This also happened the day Zorrakh came over. Figured I'd post it to, and also welcometothedarksyde Β nagged me to see it. So here ya go. Interestingly enough, looking at this photo I can say that Mototaur was about this tall when his legs were fully extended. While he was about the same height as Ryakk when in his "natural" stance. Anywho, here's a size comparison between Ryakk, and a very dusty Tyrant.

Some people are inclined to think that way, and I do to. If it can't stand on its own then Its not done right. But to each their own. If he's okay with it having a stand then that's his prerogative.

first off i get your point. secondly i think from the image my moc skermex is just to his shoulder i mean seriously that thing is fucking huge now if skermex roughed it in to battle and it transformed like grimlock in tran4mers that would be awsome.

I guess that he doesn't however has such a good stability seeing that he's sustained by a suport.

Ben said he can stand on his own, but from what I gathered, yeah not by a long shot. Bens MOCs are really cool I like what he does and his ideas, but personally, I think they overall lack support. Ryakk flexes a lot so he can be a bit tricky to stand to, but yeah I'd never tolerate a stand for a MOC like this or the T-rex, even on that size. I'd multijoint the crap out of them so they could stand on their own. But that's just me, I'm picky about the stability of my MOCs. If it can't even stand on its own then I haven't done my job right.

You aren't the only one, I'm also pretty obsessed on making my MOCs to stand up on there own without any suport, particularly when I make titans, but I rarely make them with double joints, I like to give then as much free movement as possible.

Same here though. You can make big titans and still have them be posable. Ryakk is still super posable. His shoulders and his ankles are probably my favorite design for joints as they work well and still support the weight they need to. Though the rotation part of the shoulder could be stronger. That's actually just a matter of adding more sockets and through balljoints. There's only three in there and there should probably be like five.

Hm, that a pretty good way to make stable, yet very posable titan MOCs.
And btw, have you ever thought of doing MOCs based on Pokemon since those guys apparently have endless designs to work with.

Thanks Greg. Slight correction, Ben made a big MOC. This is his biggest one, so far. Dunno if he plans to go any bigger than this. After seeing him I think this would be great for Mototaur. He was already kind of chunkier than Ryakk, so I think when I try and rebuild Mototaur I'll want something a bit taller than Ryakk, even in his natural stance.
