Description
With that, their fight has come to an abrupt halt, Nymphia is breaking down as the weight of this is starting to sink in and Shadow has arrived. I don't have a whole lot say about this page, think it speaks for itself really. Next page will be the talk between Solar and Shadow and Chapter 2 will be coming to a close pretty soon as well. I hope you guys enjoy and more to come.#Attacks on display here are Shadow ball and Nymphia throws wish in the 6th panel (Shadow doesn't do anything, he just tanks the attacks).*

Having Shadows rings visibly glow when he was angry, like when talking to Solar and tanking the Shadow Balls was a really great touch.

Yeah I liked that concept, they're supposed to glow either by will or by emotional response (kind of like blushing basically).

I under stand that Umbreon has high defense and resists both, but even with that I would think he would show he was affected just a little? although it is possible that Shadow is a bit of a beserker, and seeing the fight triggered it? I'm probably not making sense but if you can (and it doesn't spoil the story) then could you please answer? And I apologize for making so many posts, if it bothers you or takes too much of your time, please let me know.

No he just tanks them. From the numbers I ran, if this was replicated in the games, without critical hits, a strong Espeon could do about 9% max HP damage to a strong Umbreon with Shadow ball and a strong Sylveon would do about 7.5%, so between the two of them, they would do about 1/6th max HP in damage, wouldn't really bother him much.

Normally this would be a "wtf" moment that a Pokemon could take two strong Shadow balls,
but then we're talking about the mighty defender Umbreon! x3
Which makes sense.
As well as him rriving here after seeing so much flashes, destruction and maybe even hearing shouts.
Just a really nice page, even if at firts a part of me wants to critic it
Somehow, Nymphia's reaction seem too much like "damsel in distress" to me here and too quick
to snap out of the focus on fight, but then....emotion can swing quickly, so I think this is just another great page
with reliable characters of yours which I enjoy

Yeah Umbreon can take a beating (plus he resists both of them too) so didn't bother him to much.
I figure after about two explosions and the sound of a tree being broken in half, it be pretty hard to not notice what has been going on here.
Well Nymphia's been unraveling and breaking down more and more and the impact of this event, what Solar said and seeing Shadow more or less hit her all at once. Sort of a just got hit with the gravity of the situation type of thing. She was also hurt a lot more than let on as well (physically and emotionally). Plus its by no means the first time she has had a break down, like when she couldn't handle not knowing where Green was from. Stuff like that. Nymphia has always had a temper problem and in the original paper versions she also suffered from mood swings as well, which may also still be present too.
