Usually, when I'm not happy with a picture I just leave it there and move on to another project. When I posted the first version of this picture almost three years ago, I was just learning freehand digital painting with my old tablet and I knew it was less than perfect; it was a throwaway experiment I was ready to forget about... yet it went on being favved (thank you!) and used in graphics (thank you, too!), and every time I went back to look at it I couldn't help but cringe at its flaws, becoming more and more apparent as time passed.

So, I decided to do a paintover and try to fix what was wrong. Once again, it's been kind of a quick job... enough for me to be able to stand the sight of it a little longer Hope you'll like the new version as well.
