Description This tutorial is for transforming pixel art into a pattern for cross-stitch embroidery.

You easily make your own pixel art on the computer and then make a pattern of it, or use an existing one.

Have fun!

Made in GIMP

I found this a long time aago but could never really figure out how to do it, but I'd like to report that I finally did and this tutorial was a gods-send. <3 Thank you so much for putting it up as well as the net you created, which was where I was having difficulty.

I used to do my own pattern on graphic paper with grids on them. I did a crosstitch art of the Enterprise 1701D(Star Trek: The Next Generation)some years ago with my own drawing on the grid paper. I still have them, the crosstitch and the pattern. Just have not put it in a frame or what to do with it, yet. I put if off, just left it in the drawer of my nightstand.

Cool! I didn't even know you did cross-stich embrodery (other than that blue-flowered table cloth, that is)!
