Description
The Curves Tool TutorialEdit I know that the horse for the raised brightness is hiding behind the darker horse. Somehow the layer got moved. And I can't edit it. Sorry guys, but I think you get the point.
This is a overview of the curves tool. I know that this is accurate for Photoshop CS5Extended, and I think it will work for other editions of Photoshop and the basics for GIMP. I don't remember the hot keys for it is GIMP. Sorry. If there are any typos, I apologize, but I did not save a PDF to fix them. Hopefully somebody found it useful. If you don't understand anything feel free to ask or note me!

This is SO useful. Now I won't feel like I'm taking a wild guess every time I use the Curves tool.
