A new tutorial for you guys! ;DThis is basically how I match the hues and colors from the background to my horse. This is the very first step I take in "Horse Prep".
This is sort of an art trade with ~Kallieee . I am making this tutorial for her, and she is going to make something for me using this tutorial. It was pretty nice of her to do that, as I was going to make a tutorial based on this anyways.

I bet this help out a lot of manippers. I see people doing everything right but the lighting all the time, and I think this will really help.

I always did the same think, but I must have I have't considered the different 'colors' of the shadows until now. I will sure consider the fact that shadows change depending on the time of the day from now on. Thanks for making this! I am sure that it will help many people around here.

Won't you remove the background of the horse completely?
Or did you just leave it like this to only show how to change hues, colors and saturations??
Looks a little awkward with the rest of the original background.

I left it like that because if I want to go back and finish this, I need the original mane and tail to use as a "reference" to paint from.
