Description
I made this coin/question box cake (from Super Mario Bros.) for my boyfriend's recent house-warming party. ^_^ The coins above the cake are the foil-wrapped chocolate filled kind. There is also a layer of coins inside the cake itself, so that when you cut into it, you free the coins. ^___^Frosting is made from scratch, cake is from a box, coins were bought.

Nope. They were added after the cake was baked, so the foil was still on them. I just had people cut into it carefully. ^_^
