This is a Step - by - Step Tutorial of how I made my sprite for my pixelID: [link]A few people asked my how I did it~ So I decided to make this. I hope it helps people who are still in the process of making their Pixel IDs!! ...or just pixeling in general
Just a disclaimer, this is the way that I pixel, it's by far not the only way, or maybe even the easiest way~ but it's what works for me.

I don't have Photoshop, so is it possible to do this with another program?

There's a freeware program called graphicsGale for windows that will let you pixel.
You can also use MSPaint, but it doesn't have layer capabilities, etc. So it'd be a lot more tedious. You can also use any oekaki applet to pixel.

I got a question for ya... Did you have any problems installing the arcadepix into your WINDOWS FONT folder? If not then how did you do it?

I actually installed arcadepix into my windows font folder, but it still didn't show up in photoshop. I had to install it into photoshop directly.

this is nice - i enjoy the image
but its pretty high res for pixel art. It wouldn't make it into a game as pixel art because its too huge and has too many colors. games that needed pixal level artwork were trying to save on file space. They had a limited color palleted and and of coarse limited resolution. Anyway I'm getting way too technical for something that was intended to be for fun.
