Description
Thanks to the works of , and , this new Constitution-class design is finally taken light. Now we have a new variant that will probably go far with its excellent blend and balanced design. For me, I made a few modifications for my own tastes to create my own version. I had worked on at less two other versions that didn't quit work out. Sorry for the sudden deletions, but I wanted this to be the true and final version after hours of work. So this is it. This is the correct and completed final. In the years that followed, the Constitution-class starship served as one of the most well balanced and most favorable ship classes ever built. Having become an icon of both Starfleet and the Federation for many years. But as time went own, it became apparent that the Constitution needed to be upgraded and refitted as technology became more advance. To keep the Constitution-class in service, some of the best starship engineers went on to design new subclasses to serve important new roles in exploration and combat situations. From the facilities of Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards rolled out the new and ingenious Excalibur-subclass. A new Constitution-class starship refit that would surpass all expectations. Outfitted with new technologies such as new armor, sensors, shields, weapons, and a newly designed warp core, the Excalibur-subclass would become the revision ship that Starfleet has been looking for. The first Excalibur-subclass prototype would be put into service in the year 2284, the newly rebuilt USS Excalibur, now given the registry 'NCC-2041'.

My new version of the Starship Hindenburg is this class; I didn't realize it until now. I'll credit you when I upload her.

Yep; the airship was basically a flying luxury liner, so this one is, too.

Hm, we've never actually seen luxury liners in Star Trek yet.

My cruise liners are from the 25th to 26th centuries. In those times, the Federation covers almost the entire galaxy, so there's no need for war.

Even though she's a cruise liner, she still has weaponry; it's hidden under the hull. I've also given her what I like to call "pop-outs" - torpedo launchers that pop out of the sides of the secondary hull.
PS: Could you toss the Hindenburg into your list?

The list has ships that are 'known' to be Excalibur-subclass refits. It's attentional not a fully completely list so more ships could be Excalibur's for that reason. So your ship could very be one of many others not listed.

Could you do me a thick set of pylons? It's what I was looking for for my reign-class starship

Thick set? Like a separate part like I did with making my nacelles?

Yeah. The nacelles I used on the Reign are very long and the pylons will have to be not only thick, but also long enough to hold them together

I would need to see the nacelles to see what's going on if the pylons are to be made.

Have you made a comparison with our creations to the TMP Constitution? I just wonder how really big it is compared.

Oh thank you. Hm, my variant seems to be the longest, but the TMP original has bulk to measure up.

I raised the nacelles and thinned out the pylons.
