Wasn't even planning on making a meme today but figured I get this out the way since I'm here and wanted to talk about this game. Now, Some people didn't like me acknowledging a Sonic fan game, Sonic Liberations, that just happened to be a beat'em up game some time ago, one of them had this to say.

So instead of being a unique and fun platformer, it would be a generic Streets of Rage clone but with more limited attacks, forced damage in bosses, and an unbalanced difficulty curve?

I actually didn't bring this game up for being a beat'em up or how it was handled, but because of it's content, but some people need to derail the subject in order to (wrongfully)counter me, likely because they don't have a life. Even if that was the case, first of all, Streets of Rage is a bomb ass game so dissing something for being like it is silly, and secondly, there's a lot more fun to be had with beat'em ups if you know where to look. Recently I went back to one of my favorite arcade beat'em ups, Metamorphic Force. One of the last beat'em up games by Konami, starring 4 guys with the ability to change into anthropomorphic warriors and whoop ass. The gameplay is fast paced, decent sound track, and ground pounding which I feel is a nice touch. The short amount of time I spent playing this was hell of a lot more fun then having a character go fast then needing to be slowed down to platform.
