He's my favorite.
You have if you've done the main storyline. The quest to kill Paarthurnax is the very last Blades quest, and the only one that isn't vital to the main story questline.

The quest to kill Paarthurnax is the very last Blades quest. As far as I know the only thing it gets you is alliance with the Blades.
