Description
The Andromeda Galaxy with its two companion galaxies M32 and M110. Taken on the night of 30/31 October. I'm not very good with photoshop and think it is a little over processed. Still pleased with the picRelated content

Looks good, the core is not overexposed.
I say - You're on a right track
I think that the only thing it needs is more stacking material
Still, nice details popping up... especially the dark matter in spiral arms

Thanks. The left side of the galaxy is a bit thin I think. Do you know anything about dark frame subtraction. I get the idea but don't know how to do it yet. Do you stack the dark frame? How many frames do you think need to be stacking.

Oh, I forgot to add, that different times need different darkframes... cause longer times gives more noise...

Ok. I assume You know how to make a darkframe.
Since noise strongly corresponds to temperature, then doing darkframe in same conditions as photos of object gives You the potential to substract noise and false readouts (hot, dead pixels) from image. There are tools to do this... I use Black Frame NR [link]
You simply load Your photo, then darkframe, choose best method and then save output, which You later use in stacking.
