Description First time submitting a tutorial. Hope my accent does'nt put you off! Anyway this is a brief description on how to produce an HDR image. For those who are hard of hearing. I'll give an a written description below.

1 Take 3 or more shots, with various exposures (using the same aperture throughout) . All you need to do is change the shutter speed to produce an under, over and spot on exposure.

2 Take your images into your fave HDR application, [link] is very good.

3 Process your images and then apply tone mapping.

4 Use your favorite image editing application to edit back in a little shadow.

If you'd like to know more please let me know.

You can and cant. You can fake it if you take photos in RAW format, then adjusting the exposure slider you can make 3 separate exposures and then do it, but you have to do this on a day when the sun isnt to bright

i think that this is THE most decisive toturial i've ever seen, many people just talk about raw processing & generating three picture with different apertures, or, to shoot 3 pic and so and so .....
but, the step of the lightroom is as important as the photomatix "step", i thank you infinitely for that great & really usefull tutiorial of hdri.

yep Just watched a video, great tutorial I even forgot, that Lightroom is a powerful tool to manage your photos. What version of Photomatics do you use?
