Description
This is for ~AuditorySunrise , who had wondered what the Predator version of Yoda might be like...
I went for something halfway between "serious" and "chibi", and mostly decided to just have fun with a small, quick drawing.

It might strike you as equally funny that I have *always* thought of Predators as being chopstick-savvy... At least, that's what Chaunn tells me, but we know that she has a slightly skewed view of things.

Torachande after having given up on using the chop-sticks, and just tossing the tastey bites of Unagi into his mouth, strides in. "Slightly? Ha! That woman is cracked as kainde amedha chitin after a fight with me!" Bear rolls his eyes. "T-man, hush you. It's not like you're any better. Especially after last week you went on a tiraide about standard AI systems in ships. And then the previous week when you ranted and raved about mothballs, when you've never seen any." At this point the crew of the Moshathra is cracking up, and Torachande is looking at Bear like he's going to kill him.

Chaunn, wisely for once, keeps her mandibled mouth shut... But a low chuckle escapes anyway. She understands the Need to Rant quite well, as her ooman anchor, Rachael, goes off on such trivial rants on a regular basis. Chaunn regrets that Rachael will not live to be nearly as old as a Yautja and will therefore never develop the wisdom necessary to understand the Zen of Chopsticks and the intrensic benefit of chatty ship AIs.

Torachande looks at Chaunn accusatively, while Bear starts snickering. "Chaunn, have you something to say?" Torachande asks.

Chaunn only waggles her eyebrows. The infamous, catlike pfaukal sitting at her feet, yammers as if it has something to say, but Chaunn holds her silence and lets the animal do the talking. Naturally, nobody at all knows what the damned thing is saying.

Torachande cocks both eyebrows, his one eye staring in irritation at the creature. "Ah shaddap!" He yells at the pfaukal. Meanwhile Bear begins laughing his ass off.

*snorts with laughter* The best part is, he's got that cup of tea with him. Can't wait to see what it'll look like when coloured. Maybe a yin and yang symbol of a Pred and Alien could fit in as well.

Now, that is totally awsome! Ive been blending into the backdrop on DA lately, but i HAD to comment on this. Im most amazed by the fact its a quick drawing, when your pred-sage looks much better than when most people i know try to make something highly complex and detailed

Hey, I have no room to talk as far as blending into the background goes - I've still got Deviations on my watcher-list from early October. The thing about art is that it keeps me quite busy...
I'd love to see what you come up with for Battle of the Sages. It sounds positively goofy. I will probably have to follow up your work with something even more bizarre - indeed, that just might be the impetus I need for Predator versus Miss Piggy.

Chibi is pronounced chee-bee. Chibi is a drawing style where animΓ©/manga characters (or any characters, really) are shrunk into a small, cute, child-like form.
