Here are some examples of wings at different angles. I did this pretty quickly, in about 30 minutes so apologies that the wings don't look that good.
Best advice I can give is to study birds in flight and perspective.

ahh perfect!! i have a few winged creatures and its so hard to get their wings in the right pose. this tutorial would definately help! thanks for making it
