Description
... created over a 7-month period in 2002-2003, "It's About Time" was my graduation portfolio showpiece that eventually took top honors at SIGGRAPH and won awards in five other film festivals around the United States...... I used 3dsmax for all the models and lighting, Photoshop and my Sony Cybershot for the textures, Sound Forge for processing audio clips with over 80 sound effects, Adobe Premiere for editing, 13 student volunteers for creating background props, a dozen school computers running evenings and weekends as my renderfarm, my figure drawing instructor for the voice talent, a vintage 1911 upright player piano for the background music...
... and three bottles of Extra-Strength Tylenol for countless migraines...

ahhhh....I work with Blender..and I think all animations from other programmes look a little bit identically...

... thank you kindly, unfortunately since I graduated all I have is one crap computer and no assistants, so it takes forever just to get motivated... I have another screenplay and storyboard in the works, eventually I might approach the dean of my old art college with an internship program for their students when I get a business license...

That was great.
Only thing I noticed was that the voice didn't really fit the person, but that added to the surprise and lols.

... I agree with you completely, it was difficult trying to find the right voice in the span of a few weeks... I had asked her to throw her voice down a bit to sound husky but it didn't work out, I tried bending the sound wave of her voice too but it just made her sound like Darth Vader so we kept the speech as is...

Well, if that was her natural voice or something close I could imagine it would be hard to make it sound more fitting, but it's really not that bad. I mean, I've known people who look like that and have voices that are very un-stereotypical. So in a way it's more realistic the way it is!
