Awesome!  What makes it your favorite?  (What do you like about it?)  I think it's got great, clean, elegant lines, and I love all of those blasters.

Agreed!  I believe that this shuttle first appeared in Return of the Jedi (1983) just before the first appearance of the Klingon Bird of Prey in Star Trek 3 The Search for Spock (1984).  I wonder if the Lambda Shuttle helped to inspire the Bird of Prey, or if the design of the Bird of Prey was already underway when ROTJ came out?  Either way, they are both awesome designs!
