Description

Shrouded in secrecy since its inception, the TIE/X Executioner is widely thought to be the most advanced TIE Fighter ever created. Due to the secrecy surrounding its development and early deployment, little was known about this type until quite recently. The rare image above shows the TIE/X during maneuvers near Batuu.

Developed shortly before the fall of the First Order, the TIE/X (Tactical Ion Engine Fighter - Experimental) is now known to be powered by 4 enormous sub-light engines, making it the fastest TIE Fighter ever built. Its 4 wingtip turbolasers are believed to fire together to form a composite beam weapon, akin to the B-Wing Prototype. It is also equipped with 4 forward-mounted heavy laser cannons, and ion cannons, as well as rear-facing weapons. The ship is also equipped with an astromech droid, hyperdrive, and shields.
