What seasons of mlp did you work on? I know I have seen those faces and I love how you and Sibsy draw expressions. I love spotting them in a take. Spotting you in Steven Universe is still gonna take me some practice haha.

Oh gosh. I think I posted on the wrong page! XD That's what happens when you're working on a glitchy laptop. I think that was meant for one of Raveneesimo 's deviations. I was looking at her artwork after yours. Must have glitched on the back button or something.
Holy crap I need a new laptop. This one is over 4 years old and only good for Photoshop and Illustrator.
But still, I love seeing both of your work on the show. I love how you both draw the wild takes and expressions. It breaks the mold of the dolls and adds so much character to the animation.

I would have assumed you were more of a Pinkie fan given her rubbery hijinks and your own art style. I mean... damn. That LongCat Twilight at the bottom! I'm surprised it's Fluttershy of all ponies who gets the most drawings in this picture. Not that she doesn't look flippin amazing. PS. Rarity is best pony.

I love these drawings! I think that sketchy drawings often have so much more 'life' and emotion in them than when they're all cleaned up! Amazing poses and expressions too!

I really love this artwork, I love how expressive it is.
I didn't love Lesson Zero, unfortunately. I don't think it was anything storyboard artists like you could have done anything about, it was more the writing. They kind of took Twilight overboard and exaggerated her a bit much for my taste.
Still, I look forward to seeing more from you, good sir!

Not sure if they'll let me push it that far again in the future (as it was definitely encouraged in this case given the context) but its just getting me to explore other areas in which to play. Its surprising, all the other things you can do to get an audience to 'feel the moment'.

Being a frequent viewer of your art, I have to say that I'm pretty sure it was YOU who gave the ponies such awesome little pooched out lower lips in some scenes. (Correct me if I'm wrong.)
Like when Rarity tell's Twi that there is SOMETHING she could help her with, and then she gives her this cute little lower lipped pooch.
And the same thing when Twi's at the picnic later all ' No I am NOT alright.' *Troubled face, lower lip pooch.
Yeah, even before I connected the episode with you I really really enjoyed those expressions and thought they were wonderful additions to the pony emotion spectrum.
But yes, I certainly felt the moment, feeling her characteristic worry and reservations slip as the episode went on, you really captured it, as well as any other story board artist that worked on it.
Even if it's not pushed as far, I know even your subtle expressions will fill the show out to it's fullest in future episodes and I look forward to it!

Ha, thanks. Mostly its practice from when I had just finished a storyboard. No better way to figure out some characters than to just be tossed on a board with them. LoL
