Thanks, I did have fun but I really thought it would have been easier to do. I did the arms a couple times till I got them this way.

Yes, I have to make my own patterns. Most of them are made from cardboard and a lot of hand sketching. The mantis was a lot of time between the band saw and the sander (I thought it would be easier to do than the scorpion). I've had some really great input and plan to do a centipede next.
