Description
Modification of my earlier scorpion. Thanks to everyone who left comments and suggestions.Made from maple and bloodwood, body armor is inlayed, approx. 8in. long, 7in. wide and 6in. high.

No poison. I want to put a cork on the tail, every time I pick it up I poke myself.

Not yet. I hope to soon because so many have asked, but I don't fell that my stuff is good enough yet. (plus some of these little ones are fragile) I have to learn how to make them stronger.

a little glue, a lot of time, and even more swearing... ( lots of swearing ) Now to make one out of good wood.

This was my 2nd try and I spent about 2hrs a day for 2 weeks. (before finish) I'm working on a cobra and it's taking much longer.

I'm in awe of your woodwork. The inlay in particular is breathtaking. He looks as though he's articulated. Is it, or are all the joints fixed in place? Either way, the illusion of mobility is wonderfully fun.
