Description
This, much like Leopard was the start of a series.This one obviously was to feature portraits from the US Civil War era.
Originally begun about 3-4 years ago it was unfortunately postponed by the birth of my daughter.
The portrait itself was drawn using a HB pencil and was one of my quicker sketches.
I'll definitely have to get back to this one soon.

I have seen this in a history book (ages ago in my case of course)!!! Who was the chosen model for this superb rendition? Your penciling skills are astronomical and I would love to see some more of your work that you have not posted yet (I have been through your whole gallery). And yes, you have heard this before, but it looks so much like a photograph. Excellent, it is no wonder that you are so good at the digital art because you have mastered the drawing skills with pencil and paper first.
