Description
A set of Cups and Saucers. They are not meant to be used, no that is not an excuse. Tableware forms, for me at the moment, are just a template. I do not plan on making tableware much longer. I just need a few boundaries at the moment.Cone 6 Reduction
Black clay with white slip
Iron Saturate Glaze wash on bark and interior

It gives me great and terrible angst that these are not gracing my kitchen with their presence.
Too beautiful for words!

These are so wonderful!!! What clay body did you use? Did you freehand the white slip or use wax-resist? I know, I know, so many questions, but I haven't been able to get into the ceramics studio for so long and you pieces have me jones-ing for clay contact.....

I use a black clay body, with a tenmoku glaze wash on them, fired to ^6 reduction. It's nice to see the excitement for clay!

Those are so darling, I love them! They look very realistic, as if you plucked them from a tree.
