A chart/graphic for my portfolio cause I really needed an example of that.
This was really fun to work on. The purpose is to tell what parts of an hunted animal is used or consumed, but also which kind of meat comes from which part of the body(in general.)Β

hunting! yes I am for hunting too, not like that fun hunting, like hanging the head on the wall as decoration and not using anything of the animal.Β
but when you use it as food im okay with it. they had a better life than farm animals! I rarely eat meat anymore... i think it's so horrible how those animals are threated!
oh and if you want to hunt, come to my house! can we hunt deer together here hahah

there was this one time my friend told me she gave me beef... like on a sandwich, don't know what you call it.. but it actually was horse meat... I felt so bad for eating that ...

It's weird but I'm actually curious what horse meat tastes like o_o Though I understand that feeling bad part, I owned horses so if I was eating horse I'd have a moment of "OH NO, MY POOR TALOOSE!"Β

You know, people get so up on their high horse about hunting and killing, but the point of the matter is, if you eat meat, you're a part of this whether you like it or not. Being vegan is a choice, but eating meat is an instinct.
Frankly, it's good to know where your food comes from. The closer to the sources of your food you are, the more educated you are about what you're eating. It just makes sense.

I actually believe vegans/vegetarians Β and hunters could work together, as they are both against farmed and modified food. I have spoken a vegetarian and she was pro hunting as well. Β

That is why I made this graph, to let people understand and learn. People see hunting as animal cruelty while it is the most natural activity. Some animals eat other animals. We are animals too..so..we eat other animals. But were treated like we are not part of this world/nature and that is what bothers me.Β

Very nice chart here! What breed of deer is used in this graphic? I want to say whitetail, but I'm not very good at determining all the little differences between U.S. deer.

Its a white tailed deer. But the graph can apply to any wild animal.

Best is to aim slightly behind the elbow/front leg where the heart and lungs are. You are giving the deer a quick death that way Β

I'm not really one for just-for-trophy hunting, but using every part of the animal in some way is something I do support, which seems like what you've got here, so yet.
Anyways, this is all really well done :U I love all of the textures and work you put into this, making it all look very accurate, especially with that meat and flesh.Β Really swell job; definitely should make a good addition to your portfolio.

Trophy hunting I can accept in certain ways if they actually donate the meat to the poor. And when done legally. But I don't like the morality/purpose of it. Β Same with fishing.

Yeah, I agree. Β If all of the parts are used from an animal, and the animal's population's doing just fine or is even over populated, I'm fine with that a lot more than factory farming.
