Description Alright everyone, here's what all your critiques, opinions and suggestions have added up to. This is a full body drawing of Hybrid Godzilla 2000 and generally I'm pretty pleased with it. The real bitch with this guy was his head. I had to redo the thing about three times before it settled into something I liked. The only other trouble spot was the spines, as its kinda hard to figure out exactly where they are from this angle. I'm on a time crunch right now so I'll lay out the features as a list:

Head: Combination of Genesis, Shinsei, and Neo. 12 fangs in all the right places. Double row of teeth. A small horn ontop of the cat muzzle and nostrils. A long, reptilian head with a tiny ear in the back. Brow is divided into three rows of spines, the sides forming his distinctive eyebrows. The eye is a combination of Heisei and Neo. Has chin horns similar to FW concept's and cheek scales like the Neos. Face shares same scale texture as arms.

Neck: Like the originals only with an armored gullet leading into his sternum. Neck is short and surrounded by rows of spines. Sides are fleshy with scaled plates running along the backside and bordering the back spines.

Chest: Pebbly texture with a large pectorial area and an armored sternum covering the third chamber.

Arms: Genesis's shoulder spikes were added and changed into blade like ridge spines. These also glow when breath is charged. Scale texture is like the Genesis's arms with four claws at the end. Arms are longer than normal and have the FW Concept's forearm scale blades.

Torso: Developed abs instead of large belly. I went for a medium thickness in terms of width. Not too thin, not too bloated. Belly texture is same as chest, sides are same texture as arms. Upright posture.

Legs: Most of the Hybrids bulk is made here. Large, heavily built muscles instead of bulging rolls of skin. Mostly humaniod in shape. Foot is slightly digitigrade with four heavy foot claws. Shins are guarded with spiky scale armor that goes up his leg but breaks at the knee. Knees are smooth. Skin texture is like the Heisei.

Tail: Combination between Neo and Shinsei. Armored plates over pebbly skin. Single line of razor spines go down the tail and briefly enlarge over the gator like fluke. Tip is pointed. Tail is about twice as long as body, drags behind in classic manner. Thick and powerful.

Back: Spines are Shinsei, three rows starting at the lower neck, enlarging down the back and shrinking toward the base of the tail. From here they converge into a single row of razor spines as mentioned in the tail section. Flesh covers the sides of most spines. Spines glow reddish orange when breath is charged.

Colors: Skin is a dark green. Claws are either bone colored or pearly white. Belly maybe a darker or lighter shade of the green that colors the skin. Eyes are amber colored with red whites. Spines are deep purple near the root and gradually become tinted red at the tips. Tongue and gums are red to deep crimson.

If general consensus decides this version works, I'll use it as the basis for the SD. Again, feedback is welcome and encouraged.

I wondered about the belly being gray too but didn't know if that aspect of the Neo version would set well or not. I think I'll go with it since it provides some nice contrast.

Red would probably over do it, now that you mentioned it. Deep purple to grey-white would probably work fine.

I'm going to have to put my foot down on the spikiness. This is a mix after all and I'd hate to completely erase the aspects of ChaosGhidorah's and FW Concept's designs that did make it in. I know Godzilla 2000 is generally leathery up front and serrated doom in the back but I'd like to defferentiate the Hybrid from the Shinsei in some way. He's kept most of his leatheryness so I still think its a decent compromise.

Pretty good suggestions Gregole, I'll implement some of them when I get around to coloring the SD. Thanks as always

This requires expletives: holy shit! Damn! Etc.

This is one of our best hybrids yet, if not THE best. He's just unbelievably awesome - he has all the best features of all the other incarnations mixed in a way that WORKS despite the fact that they're all vastly different. Excellent work1

If all his parts look like they work and meld well together than I think that I succeeded. Hypergojira noticed that the shoulder spines look glued on but that can be fixed with displaced flesh around them later.

Gregole gave some good advice on the color so I'll be doing that. The-Great-MM isn't fond of the gator tail but he thinks it still looks good and he's generally seen worse versions. Both of them think he's still too spiny but smoothing him out would nullify both ChaosGhidorah's and FW Concept's contributations to the process and I want him to keep some aspect of uniqueness compared to the original.

He'll be a little different than planned colorwise but generally I think we have a winner here. I just hope I don't get absolutely bombed with homework so I can get to work on the SD.

looks good to me, though the shoulder "scales/fins/blades" look a little stuck on. The don't appear to grow out of the shoulder, they just look glued on to me. THought this could be fixed when you color it. Other thatn that it loooks pretty good to me - great job

Yeah, I see what you mean. I'll probably show some skin displacement when I do the SD so its an easy fix.

its great but the spines are too big if a monster hade spines that big it would be mostlikley a quadruped

Godzilla 2000 did have really large spines. It was just a part of that particular suit. It just wouldn't be Godzilla 2000 without the large serrated blade spines coming out of his back. They are a little large here and G2K had more of a slouching posture than other suits that suggested their weight. I just didn't think to show that here.

cool pic and just asking are his feet ticklish?

After years of stepping on debris, rocks, the ocean floor, and various armored opponents, I don't think the pads of his feet would be all that liable to tickling. Why do you ask lol?

Godzilla has a really thick and scaly hide, its unlikely he is overtly sensitive anywhere but his tongue.

Hardly, it would be like trying to tickle a brickwall. Ain't gonna happen. Is this for somekind of fetish or something?

Simple curiousity eh? Well general rule of thumb, if its scaly its not likely to be all that sensitive to touch. The more open skin it has, the more likely that it is ticklish.

I do have to agree the colors are a bit iffy though. I prefer the idea that Gregole suggested myself.

I'm gonna roll with that too so don't worry. Blazing red is going to stay Burning Godzilla's thing. Besides, he'd look like a christmas decoration if you really think about it.
