Description Well I have been trying to make a suitable sketch of my Gojira Phase II for months. Today, while ate lunch I final came up with something a like! Thus, this sketch will become the underlay for my Gojira Phase II resurrection (AKA SuperGodzilla - I know, I Know a totally geeky title).

This is very rough, but it is the first thing that I have done of this concept that I have liked in about year+. I need to work on the left arm and leg, but it is a good begining. This will become an underlay, the rest of the work will be done in photoshop.

Any comments or suggestions are very welcome.

The only thing I would change is to add some musculature to his legs and tail. Godzilla's upper body looks wonderful with that musculature, but I would add some to his lower half to balance it out a bit, so long as you can keep away from the thunder thighs look.

Thank you for the comment. I plan to add some more structure to the legs and reduce the musles in the shoulder/arms some to bring it into proportion more. And hopefully avoid the thunder thighs!

Good thinking on the topic of muscle definition...veins, six-packs and all those 90's comic-book details just don't work standing out from a nice layer of scales, to say nothing of the gross anatomical differences.

Once again, great initial sketch. Phase II's overall build is notably buffer, the head seems a notch more rugged, and I really dig the look of that tail...nice, workmanlike length & taper.

I couldn't agree more. I actually think the sketch has to much implicit musculature, I sure a work a lot on getting it to look just right.

Thanks. The final will be more rugged in general

Nice! He seems sleeker than your normal Goji. I can't wait to see more of him, he looks like a good design!

I'm trying to go with something more muscular too, but not "ripped" like a comic book superhero.

Sounds good! I just noticed the 110 meters up there. He's a big Goji, eh?

Yes, I am a little simplistic. GI = 100m, GII = 110M & GIII = 120M

whats up with the math on the top?

Hahaha, i forgot that was on there until after I posted it. The calculation on the right was to determine GII's mass compared to GI's (1.33 x GI, but I will probably bump it up to 1.4 x GI for the extra muscle) and on the left is its height (110 meters).
