I had the biggest crush on Princess as a child! I have fond memories of running home from school every afternoon to catch "Battle of The Planets" back in 3rd grade. The good ol days. . . Still my favorite cartoon of all time.Someone really needs to make a live action BOTP movie (there's a computer animated "Gatchaman" movie coming out next year, by the studio who did the latest TMNT movie, but that's not good enough for me. I want a live action movie, not CG!).
Anyways, drew it, then colored it in PS.

There supposedly is going to be a live-action version movie in 2009, but it's being done in Japan. We don't know much more than that yet...

Aahh! Too cool! This is good stuff! And I love how you worked in the yo-yo! I forgot about these guys! A few years back, I did some Heads Up sketches of the BOTP crew for someone at the Motor City Comic Con. They never came back for them. Saw your pic, then dug up those sketches. Gotta scan and color now! BOTP rocked!

My entry cosplay...at 5 years old or so...was Princess!
I am so excited about the movie that Imagi is plugging away at! There has not been a lot of mainstream Gatchaman love, maybe the CG version will bring it back, and you will get that live action film you crave!
...I feel selfish here, but I hope you create more characters from this series!

LOL! I will have to brave my mother's house for a picture of that one. It made her crazy to have to make that costume. When I told her I wanted to be "Princess", she immediately thought I meant the run of the mill fairy tale type. Little did she know....
