Snail Girl: pretty unimaginative title, huh. Anyways, charcoal drawing, 24"x 18" (hell to scan in and piece together in Photoshop!). Yeah, that's supposed to be a metallic shell.Related content

Wow, I absolutely love this! The difference of texture from the snail shell to the girl. The shell looks so shiny and then the snails body is in pencil, or I think it is.

The touch of fantasy mixed in was the key. A giant snail with a metal shell, giving a nude a ride. . . or is it a normal sized snail with a metal shell giving a tiny nude a ride. Shoot, maybe I should have given her little wings and made her a fairy!
