Description
The Obbeeysian Marquess class was designed by Quinn Fulton in 1907. This 0-6-0 tender engine was the tender variant of the Marchioness class. Just like the Marchioness class, the original boiler of the Marquess class was capable of 200 psi. Over time, these engines had their boilers replaced with boilers capable of sustaining higher pressures multiple times during overhauls.
As was tradition by this point, the prototype of this class was bought by the Obbeeysian Coal Mining Company, followed by five more later that same year, of which two were non-faceless. One of the non-faceless ones, as well as a two faceless ones were allocated to the construction of and running of the Blein Coal Mine.
