TW for death during child birthKylo stood over the NICU, looking at his newborn son. He felt rage bubble inside of him at the sight of the foal, but at the same time, pity. This little one and his sisters were now gonna grow up without a mother.
If it wasn't for him Angel would still be here. Angel Wings was an incredible mare and an incredible mother. Her and Kylo were so excited for their oncoming little ones when they found out they'd be having twins.
The first foal was born healthy and without any complications but then it all went wrong. Kylo felt a tear slip down his cheek remembering seeing Angel hold the little filly in her arms and smiling before the second was born.
"Excuse me, Sir, visiting hours are over. You can return tomorrow" Kylo looked up to see a male earth pony nurse speaking to him. Nodding he gently glided his hoof against the cold glass that encased his newborn son, seeing him all hooked up to wires.
A part of him wanted to just leave the colt there and never return, but he knew that wasn't what Angel would've wanted. So sighing, the stallion turned away, knowing he'd be back again tomorrow.
