TW for alcohol abuse, child abuse, running awayIt was six AM, the sun was just rising as Gallantry squeezed his way out from his room window. It was the day after his 18th birthday and the house was silent. He knew his parents had passed out drunk and he took his chance,.
Packing some food, money, and essentials he quickly trotted off from his home, his ears pinning back as he took one more look.
He couldn't take his parents anymore, they were horrible and he knew that. He'd been waiting his entire life to leave and was finally doing it. He'd start anew, start fresh.
Maybe in a new place he'd meet new friends, maybe even a partner and new-found-family.
Gallantry quickly ran away as the sun began to rose, having to leave before his parents woke up for their six AM drinks. He left a note for them but he doubted they'd read it.
He just wondered what he was gonna do now, where he was gonna go. And how life would progress this way.
