Description
Alright, here's a bit of a tutorial on Muro.ΒI know it can be confusing, but please read through it.
The best way to learn any program is by experimenting with it, so go on Muro and PRESS SOME BUTTONS!!! XD
Although, I do hope this helps a bit.
And I hope ya like it!
Any questions, I will try to answer in the comments.

Ah, that's one of the weird things in SAI. There is no shape tool that I've found
The way I go about making circles is either trying over and over to draw them, or using the mouse to make a circle with the brush tool, and then erasing the inside by just decreasing the size of the circle on the eraser.

If you do the line art with 1% or 2%, you won't have to go over it.= for pen pressure. Although th lines may be too thick for 2, so 1% is better.

This was really great and helpful but one question:
I have no trouble with layers/opacity, but I was wondering: How do you draw the actual figure? My lines are really shaky and I can't seem to draw anything on Muro.
Any tips? :c

Riverspirit! Thank you! Also, I might have found a way to use pressure, although I am using an iPad. So just do the 'Sketch' option, and set the opacity on high. Then turn strokes to 1 for a better effect. I don't know if you already tried this! ^^

Muro is a Deviantart drawing tool. If you go up to Submit art, you'll see "Draw with DA Muro" in the dropdown menu.

I believe there is. There is a shape tool that can draw squares, circles, elipses and other shapes.

Seedfall In reply to Brownleaf360 [2015-10-28 22:31:12 +0000 UTC]
Β I've never seen them, but I make the basic brush very large, make a big black dot on the canvas, make the eraser a tiny bit smaller than the basic brush, position it in the middle best I can, and make a empty dot, creating the illusion of an outline. Imagine a doughnut, but with almost no dough.

The sketch tool in the drawing thing helps with the lineart, but it also does some kinda weird thing that you have to erase from the lineart... But it is pretty cool... if you set it to like size 28 or something like that...

what would you recommend for eyes when you're drawing the pupil black and the iris colored?
i would think you do the same, but just more black for the pupil and the iris would be colored, shaded, and highlighted, right?
meh
and thanks for making this. It really helps
