Description
With title that could have been used for that crazy 1971 movie or the Glaswegian Underground Railway. I thought it was appropriate for the new traction that has been brought onto the Carlisle - Chirk logs. This service now has been pulled by a very wide range of traction, but now its run by a train that is owned by the company that actually run it, Colas rail. But i have to say the service never seizes to surprise.
Here we have the very first time/day a Class 66 has run this service. This is Class 66 "66843" in Orange and Yellow Colas Livery at Carlisle Station.
18-70mm Lens.

Very nice shot sir, sharp, clear and well lit. Also I recall how much this was smoking when it pulled past us and away with the abnormally long 15 wagon rake behind it...
