I rather enjoy the whole capture of the whole train down the tracks, the show of travel, run-aways, tramps. The vintage look brings out the age of this train, even if it is a newer model, this still reminds me of the old steamengines, the color, the contrast is completely magnificent. Another thing, the way you captured the passengers on the side shows interest, especially that other photographer over there, but either way, completely great shot, hard to capture trains of such good angle, the way you captured the steam rising out from the top is also an amazing feature, great job.

What a sleek, modern-looking engine! It looks like it would go well over 100-mph. Solid shot!

For something that was built in the 1930s it is very modern looking, and one of its sisters models the Mallard did hold the record of the fastest steam train in the world of about 138mph if i remeber rightly.

Interesting to compare her appearance here to her current garter blue. I'm more a fan of the blue, but she does look quite good in green. Actually, I think the green works better with the wheels fully visible, and the blue with the valances on. Just as well it's that way round!

I do like her in her new Garter Blue guise, but I think the B.R. green was better...
Nice photo of a good day.

Very impressive! I though live stream was banned from Manchester Piccadilly..... Wrong again!
Is that the second tender used by scotsman for its non stop Kings X- Edinburgh in the 1970's?
Great Picture!

It was banned, this was a very rare one off, hence why it was amazing and why i definatly could not miss it! As matt answered it is that tender, and thank you!
