Description To bring chaos to order, i posted a picture out of order, this is due to the fact that its the most important picture I think I have posted.

Yes trainspotters of the world, thats right the first shot of a DB Schenker new liveried train in the UK to be posted on DA.

This was recently painted, one of two Class 37s to receive the new livery.

This is a DB Schenker Class 37 "37670 St Blazey T&RS" and "37401" (In EWS Livery).

This is truly a epic moment taken 49 minutes ago on the WCML.

I believe its Mission Complete!

Indeed, times are changing and Germany is taking over England, Its like the Second World War but the other way round and they are winning very slowly.

Hmm... Looks kinda odd somehow, or maybe it's the yellow ends. I just have the feeling that it's not red but rather orange, but as we're seeing more of the front than from the side, it migbht just be me.

Well its the sun doing that and the angle, but is by law to have yellow ends in this country.

It's only the first step towards direct 1-seat ICE service from Frankfurt to London.

Indeed which would be very cool and could even defeat the waiting times of a Airport.

Exactly. The only problem is that Deutsche Bahn hasn't built a solid high speed connection between Cologne and Brussels. Once that's done, it'll be a snap to get 'er up'n'running. Hopefully, DB will complete high speed lines from Frankfurt to Mannheim and Mannheim to SaarbrΓΌcken soon. Then, with SNCF extending their LGV Est to Fobach, the Frankfurt-Paris run will be all high speed too.

Great to see that they are repainting instead of scrapping it and a great find.

I'm not sure I actually like the paint scheme, though. With the yellow ends, the red in between makes it look like a cheap plastic toy, or maybe a candy bar. I think they should have left the grey roof section run across the entire roof, instead of just a patch in the middle. And finally, the DB biscuit (as we call it) on the nose just looks wrong...

Haha lol, it does look very wired in total, but it makes a change for us, any new livery is a wanted object in this country, course you wouldn't have that in german

Maybe this shows that DB have made a commitment to the Class 37s, by refurbishing them as opposed to scrapping them. This is England, not Germany, and preservationists and enthusiasts alike would hate to see a good 37 wasted. So this is a good thing.

Epic noise as well...

Yes Epic noise indeed, went outside last night to watch it come back past on my front door step, it echoed though out the estate for minutes until it passed getting louder and louder, it was epic.

Indeed! Class 37 in DB Livery FTW! , Soon most of the fleet of trains in this country will be in this livery, its only a matter of time.
