Description
So this is it guys, no big twists or deaths, just a father who questions whenever he did everything he could or he is responsible for the misery his son had to go through.Hope you like it and it did not end up being excessively sentimental.

Whoa, squiggly, shaky text means blubbering or cracking up.Β I thought I did enough with blue-colored text for the underwater talk, but this sells it, takes the cake, however you say it.Β Good job.

Well, it's about a happy thing after all, just with some unfortunate flashback.

The effect with the last speech bubble is an awsome idea Robert.Β
As for the rest of the page and the comic... I read it because I love it

I'm FLOORED by the way this turned out.Β
"Deep down, I no longer believed in Zootopia either."
This alone is what I truly think of John from the original storyline. He just... couldn't catch a break no matter how hard he tried. He loved his family as was clearly shown and wanted Nick to be there the whole way to show him that 'Anyone can be anything'. But I also allude that to what happened to him in both plots. Seeing John fail and being bullied himself, he figured that fox's couldn't.
And the next panel was just as emotive. He wanted to have his son believe in something that was supposed to work, but the end result showed him the opposite, he no longer had faith in the city like his dad.Β
But the end was AMAZING! I've seen very few people do jittery text (literally only one) to such a degree in a comic or other media that makes it look like they're stammering and becoming very emotional. You portrayed this perfectly!
And that hug.Β Β Β Β so beautiful!!!Β

Nick should hear this, and hug his Dad tight. Β I think they both need it!
And I love the way you make the text get rougher and rougher to convey the emotion in his voice.

This is spot on perfect in its beauty. You absolutely nailed the worry a father has for his son, especially one he feels he had let down. This is beautifully perfect Robert. Well done!!!
