i will be using photoshop cs2 for this tutorial.1. go to layers > new adjustment layer > brightness/contrast and fill this in:
brightness: 10
contrast: 10
2. go to layers > new adjustment layer > selective colour, select 'relative' and fill this in:
neutrals: +42, +13, -40, -23
blacks: -18, +1, +65, +11
3. go to layers > new adjustment layer > colour balance and fill this in:
shadows: -61, -29, -28
midtones: -42, -29, -14
highlights: -16, -10, -13
4. go to layers > new adjustment layer > curves and select rgb from the drop-down list. click anywhere on the grid and fill this in:
point 1: 64, 56
point 2: 192, 194
select red from the list, click anywhere on the grid and fill this in:
point 1: 47, 41
point 2: 196, 210
select green from the list, click anywhere on the grid and fill this in:
point 1: 47, 23
point 2: 91, 73
point 3: 160, 173
now select blue from the list, click anywhere on the grid and fill this in:
point 1: 53, 36
point 2: 195, 197
now merge the layers and you're done!
