Sketch by =RiotaiProwerI was so psyched to get a collab with Hydrocity Zone as the backdrop! The scariness of the level made me hate it as a kid, but playing it later I realized it's incredibly beautiful (with awesome music too~). One of my favorites now.
I thought this was gonna be one of the more easier collabs, but the geometric shapes ended up stumping me for a long time in this lineless style. A really long time lol. I was so overwhelmed with the challenge that it'd never get finished. But once I got it that aspect figured out, I went all out with all the other elements. Really hope you guys find the water rushing through believable, and I hope you enjoy the tunnel's depth! (and try to ignore the wonky perspective...

FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE! I'm not a classic gamer, the first video gaming...err..console I have owned was the big ol' gameboy, it did have a Sonic game. However, I've never played the Sega. So playing this the other night and seeing this beautiful artwork today..kinda brings back pretty good memories. lol No but seriously, it does feel different to play classic games.

( I don't know if I should tell you this but..Imma do it just for the fun of it : one of my sister's friends solved a puzzle of an old game, no idea what the console was, the games was of a princess that is trapped, you should unlock the rooms to get to her..I think. She solved it..in the bathroom. Old games are that addictive.)

Hydrocity Zone HD?? Now that's an honor! (though admittedly I left out some details for simplicity/laziness...) Blue is the color I'm least experienced with, despite being my favorite, so I had a bit of difficulty with the underwater-ness of this whole thing haha.
