Holy macaroni. What the hell am I doing?After a few months of having this piece sit on my computer, being unloved and unseen, I dusted it off and applied a few more hours of details. What is inked here is maybe 1/5 of the total piece I sketched out which is why I wonder why I am still doing this. When does a labor of love become a psychotic journey into the depths of human tolerance for drawing concentric rings around tubes?
I love the alien and predator creatures, and the comic books in which they first squared off. Thus began my crucible to do justice to the mighty titans whom I adore, and Hollywood has all but reduced to a bad movie cliche. Inspired highly by Bernie Wrightson's style, I set forth with this piece over a year ago. Maybe one of these days I'll finish it. Until then, please enjoy this work in progress!

There's nothing like a labor of love turning into a psychotic journey, especially when it comes to ink work (believe me, I know!) but this is absolutely fantastic so far! I'll be looking forward to when you finish this.

Yeah, sometimes its fun to just space out and work on little details. I had to stop after 3 hours last night because my hand was cramping up. Glad you like it though!
