An illustration I did a while back depicting Tendril from the Inhumanoids.This was a little known tv show from the 80's about giant monsters that lived underground. It was only 13 episodes but it made an impact on me as a kid and as an artist. Plus the toys are freaking awesome. Tendril was a sort of plant monster who was capable of regenerating any part of his body if it was chopped or blasted off.
Done entirely with mechanical pencil.

The Cthuhlu overtones were so heavy with this guy alone and the entire series premise, and to think I fell in love with it way before I ever even learned it. Thank you for not only being a fan of the show but for giving us such a great illustration of one of the titular monsters. Its really serving as an inspiration for me when I work on my own pics of them

Thanks so much! I absolutely loved the inhumanoids. Its my favorite animated show of all time but so few people know about it. I even imported the full series from the UK so I could have all of the episodes. For some reason the last few never got a release in the US, probably due to the overly violent nature of one of the last creatures introduced. I'll look forward to seeing your take on the inhumanoids!!!
